Retreats for People Who Want to Change Their Life – and the World
Join us for in-person Spirit of the Game retreats across Europe in 2026. Choose between Wellness Retreats for mind–body–soul reset and Impact Retreats for strategy, clarity, and action.
These retreats represent the powerful collaboration between Coaching Impact and Spirit of the Game, bringing together our shared commitment to inner transformation and outer impact. They are the in-person layer of the AI for Impact journey—a chance to step away from your daily life, connect with a global community of changemakers, and return home with clarity, practices, and accountability partners who will support your continued growth.
Two Retreat Tracks, One Mission
Every month in our 2026 calendar combines two distinct yet complementary experiences. We've designed this rhythm intentionally: Wellness Retreats run Monday through Thursday, offering deep rest and renewal, while Impact Retreats take place Friday through Sunday, focusing on strategic clarity and action planning. You can attend one track or combine both for a transformative week-long immersion.
Wellness Retreats
Monday – Thursday
Mind–body–soul immersions that combine movement, mindfulness, and practical tools for sustainable well-being
Impact Retreats
Friday – Sunday
Weekend intensives using our proven 'Maximizing Your Impact' framework to clarify purpose and create action plans
Wellness Retreats (Mon–Thu)
Designed as mind–body–soul immersions, these four-day experiences invite you to step completely out of your routine and into a space of restoration and discovery. Expect daily yoga or movement practices, meditation sessions, and thoughtfully designed workshops on mental health, physical vitality, and sustainable lifestyle design. You'll leave recharged, clearer in mind and heart, and equipped with new habits you can integrate immediately into your daily life.
Each wellness retreat is held in beautiful, restorative locations that support your journey inward. Our expert facilitators bring diverse backgrounds in mindfulness, somatic practices, nutrition, sleep science, and habit formation. The small group size—typically 12 to 20 participants—ensures intimate connection and space for your individual needs.
  • Daily yoga and/or movement practice tailored to all levels
  • Morning and afternoon workshop blocks with expert facilitators
  • Topics include mindfulness, stress resilience, sleep optimization, nutrition, and habit design
  • Optional 1:1 coaching sessions and structured reflection time
  • Small, intimate groups that foster deep connection and vulnerability
  • Nutritious meals designed to support well-being and energy
Impact Retreats (Fri–Sun)
Weekend intensives built around the 'Maximizing Your Impact' flagship format developed by Spirit of the Game over years of experimentation and refinement. These retreats are for people who know they're meant for more—more impact, more alignment, more contribution—but need clarity on how to get there. You will clarify your Personal Impact Platform, align your personal development with your social impact goals, and leave with a concrete action plan and accountability partners.
Impact Retreats use a proven structure that balances large-group inspiration with small-group intimacy, self-reflection with peer coaching, and visioning with practical planning. By Sunday afternoon, you'll have mapped your 30/90/365-day action steps and connected with others who share your commitment to purposeful change.
  • 'Maximizing Your Impact' core structure and methodology
  • Personal Development + Social Impact breakout sessions
  • Small-group design with peer coaching and mutual accountability
  • Integration with Impactful Networks (Women, Business, Youth, Teachers)
  • Clear 30/90/365-day action steps you can implement immediately
  • Connection to a partner or peer group for ongoing support
  • Optional 1:1 sessions with experienced coaches
Retreat Formats & Impactful Networks
Across 2026, our retreats will use three main formats, each adapted to local context, cultural nuances, and the specific audience we're serving. This flexibility ensures that whether you're joining us in Greece or Portugal, Romania or France, you'll experience content that resonates with your needs while maintaining the core Spirit of the Game methodology.
1
Maximizing Your Impact
Our flagship format guides you through a structured process of identifying your personal development and social impact priorities, then mapping your current Personal Impact Platform—the unique ways you already show up and influence the world around you. Through facilitated exercises and peer dialogue, you'll design short-, mid-, and long-term focus areas that honor both your inner growth and outer contribution. The weekend culminates with each participant presenting a step-by-step action plan, complete with specific milestones and a peer or accountability group to support implementation. This format has been refined over dozens of retreats and consistently produces breakthrough moments for participants who feel stuck or scattered in their impact work.
2
Live Your Best Life
A flexible, choose-your-own-adventure workshop schedule where participants select sessions based on their current needs and curiosities. Morning, afternoon, and sometimes evening sessions cover impact, sustainability, mental health, physical health, and occasionally financial well-being. This format works beautifully for groups with diverse backgrounds and interests, allowing everyone to craft their own personalized retreat experience. You might spend your morning in a session on regenerative business models, your afternoon learning breathwork techniques, and your evening discussing sustainable investing strategies—all within one day.
3
Mind–Body–Soul
An immersive wellness format that combines daily yoga, varied movement practices, and meditation with talks and workshops from alternative and emerging health experts. The core philosophy: "Each day we offer you a new habit to try on and see if it fits." Maybe it's a morning cold plunge ritual, an afternoon forest bathing walk, or an evening gratitude practice. You're invited to experiment without pressure, noticing what resonates and what doesn't. By the end of the retreat, you'll have a personalized toolkit of practices that feel authentic and sustainable for your life, not someone else's idealized routine.
Impactful Networks
Throughout 2026, several retreats will be designed specifically for our established Impactful Networks—communities of practitioners who share common contexts and challenges. These network-specific retreats allow for deeper dialogue and more targeted content while maintaining our commitment to cross-pollination and diverse perspectives.
Impactful Women's Network
Supporting women leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers in navigating the unique challenges and opportunities of creating impact while honoring the full complexity of their lives and identities.
Impactful Business Network
For entrepreneurs, executives, and business leaders committed to proving that profit and purpose can—and must—coexist in service of a thriving future for all.
Impactful Youth Network
Designed for young changemakers, students, and emerging leaders who are building their impact platforms early and need community, mentorship, and practical tools to sustain their commitment.
Impactful Teachers Network
Honoring educators who shape young minds and hearts daily, offering them space to refill their own wells while connecting with peers who understand the profound challenges and joys of teaching.

Who These Retreats Are For
Our retreats welcome a beautifully diverse mix of humans who share one thing in common: a deep commitment to both inner transformation and outer impact. You don't need to have your life figured out or your impact strategy perfected. In fact, many participants arrive precisely because they're in transition, questioning, or seeking greater alignment between their values and their daily life. What matters is that you're willing to do the inner work, open to community, and committed to showing up for the change you wish to see.
For Individuals
Whether you're navigating a career transition, building a social enterprise, deepening your coaching practice, or simply sensing there's more alignment and impact waiting for you, these retreats offer space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what truly matters. Our participants include:
  • Professionals in transition – stepping between careers, roles, or life chapters and seeking clarity on what comes next
  • Leaders and entrepreneurs – founders, executives, and managers who want to lead with greater purpose and sustainability
  • Coaches, consultants, and facilitators – practitioners who support others' growth and need to refill their own wells
  • Young changemakers and students – emerging leaders building their impact platforms and seeking mentorship and community
  • Artists, educators, and creatives – anyone using their craft to inspire, challenge, and transform culture
  • Activists and organizers – frontline changemakers who need rest, strategy, and sustainable practices for the long haul
For Organizations
We also welcome teams, departments, and organizations seeking an experiential off-site that goes beyond typical team-building. Our retreats can be customized for groups who want to combine culture development, strategic planning, and individual well-being in one transformative experience. Organizations who might benefit include:
  • HR and L&D departments – seeking innovative leadership development that addresses the whole person, not just skills
  • Social enterprises and nonprofits – teams needing to reconnect with mission while addressing burnout and sustainability
  • Purpose-driven businesses – companies wanting to strengthen culture around shared values and impact
  • Educational institutions – faculty and staff teams looking to refresh pedagogy and renew their commitment to students
  • Professional associations and networks – groups wanting to deepen connection and co-create vision for collective impact
For organizational bookings, we work with you to customize content, timing, and structure to serve your specific goals while maintaining the core Spirit of the Game methodology.
Above all, these retreats are for humans who refuse to settle for a divided life—who believe their personal healing and growth are inseparable from the healing and growth of the world around them. We welcome participants from all backgrounds, identities, and nationalities. Our commitment to diversity isn't performative; it's essential to the quality of dialogue, learning, and community we create together.

How We Plan and Co-Create Retreats
Behind every successful retreat is a web of relationships, careful planning, and co-creation with local partners and communities. We don't parachute into a country with a pre-packaged program and expect magic to happen. Instead, we work collaboratively to ensure each retreat is culturally responsive, meets genuine needs, and leaves participants and local communities better off than before.
01
Identify the Audience
Who needs this experience right now? We start by understanding the local and global communities we're serving—their contexts, challenges, and aspirations. Sometimes we're responding to interest from an existing network; other times we're reaching new audiences through partners.
02
Secure the Venue
Location matters deeply. We look for retreat centers, eco-lodges, or other spaces that support rest, reflection, and connection. Accessibility, natural beauty, and alignment with our values around sustainability and community are all essential criteria.
03
Assemble Facilitators
Each retreat is led by experienced facilitators from the Spirit of the Game global network and local practitioners who bring cultural knowledge and context. We prioritize diversity in facilitator teams and ensure they're trained in our core methodologies.
04
Design the Agenda
Using our proven formats as a foundation, we customize content to serve the specific group, timing, and location. This might mean emphasizing certain workshops, inviting guest speakers, or adapting exercises for cultural context.
05
Build Community
Before, during, and after the retreat, we're cultivating connection. This includes pre-retreat calls or materials, creating space during the event for organic relationship-building, and post-retreat support through online platforms and accountability partnerships.
Our Co-Creation Approach
Spirit of the Game uses its extensive global network—including LinkedIn connections, partner organizations, alumni from previous retreats, and local changemaker communities—to co-create each experience. Some retreats are open enrollment, welcoming individual participants from anywhere in the world. Others are co-designed with specific partner organizations, networks, or companies who want to bring groups of their members, employees, or stakeholders.
This collaborative model means we're not just hosting events; we're weaving a global community of practice. Participants often attend multiple retreats across different countries, deepening relationships and building a truly international support network. Facilitators share learnings and practices across contexts. And local partners gain access to frameworks, tools, and connections that continue generating value long after the retreat ends.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to attend AI for Impact before joining a retreat?
Not at all. While many retreat participants have engaged with our AI for Impact program or other Spirit of the Game offerings, it's absolutely not required. The retreats are designed to be accessible to anyone who resonates with our values of inner work + outer impact. If you're new to our community, the retreat itself will introduce you to our core frameworks and practices. And if you've been part of our ecosystem for years, you'll find depth and new applications of familiar concepts.
What language are the retreats in?
Most retreats are conducted primarily in English, as it's the common language for our international participants. However, we often have facilitators and participants who speak multiple languages, and we create space for small-group discussions in other languages when possible. For certain country-specific or network-specific retreats, we may offer full programming in other languages (Spanish, Portuguese, French, Romanian, etc.). If language is a barrier for you, please reach out—we'll work to find solutions or connect you with a retreat that better serves your needs.
Can my organization book a full retreat just for our team?
Yes! We love co-creating custom retreats for organizations, teams, and networks. Whether you have 10 people or 50, we can design an experience that serves your specific goals while incorporating our proven methodologies. Custom retreats allow for deeper customization of content, timing, and location. They also build exceptionally strong team culture and shared language around personal development and impact. Reach out to discuss your needs and we'll create a proposal that fits your context and budget.
Are these retreats residential, and what is included in the price?
Most of our retreats are residential, meaning participants stay on-site for the full duration in shared or private accommodations. Pricing typically includes lodging, all meals, workshop materials, and facilitation. Some retreats may also include airport transfers, excursions, or 1:1 coaching sessions. Exact inclusions and pricing will be confirmed for each specific retreat location and date. We're committed to transparent pricing and work to keep retreats accessible through sliding scale options, organizational sponsorships, and occasional scholarships for participants with financial constraints.
What if I'm not 'a typical leader'—is this still for me?
First, let's challenge the idea that there's such a thing as a "typical leader." In our experience, impact and leadership show up in infinite forms—as parents, teachers, artists, organizers, caregivers, students, and so many other roles that rarely get recognized with fancy titles. If you're showing up for growth, contribution, and community, you belong at these retreats. We intentionally create space for diverse backgrounds, identities, and expressions of leadership. What matters is your commitment to both inner work and outer impact, not your job title or LinkedIn profile.
What's the participant experience level—will I be the only beginner (or the only expert)?
Our retreats welcome participants across the full spectrum of experience with personal development, social impact work, and retreat participation. You'll find first-timers sitting beside seasoned facilitators, young students learning from longtime activists, and everyone in between. This diversity is intentional and creates richer learning for everyone. Beginners benefit from the wisdom and modeling of more experienced participants; experts gain fresh perspectives and are challenged to articulate their knowing in new ways. Our facilitators are skilled at creating containers where everyone can contribute and learn regardless of where they're starting from.
How do I choose which retreat(s) to attend?
Start by considering timing—which months work with your schedule? Then think about whether you're drawn more to the Wellness track (inner restoration and habits) or the Impact track (strategic clarity and action planning), though attending both in one week creates a powerful combined experience. Location may matter if you want to explore a specific country or region. And if you identify with one of our Impactful Networks (Women, Business, Youth, Teachers), look for network-specific retreat dates. That said, trust your intuition—sometimes the retreat that calls to you isn't the one that makes logical sense, and that's often the right choice. You can also reach out to us for a conversation about which experience might serve you best.
Investment and Accessibility
We believe transformative experiences should be accessible to everyone who's truly committed, regardless of financial circumstances. At the same time, we must sustain our facilitators, partners, and the quality of retreat offerings. This tension is real, and we navigate it through transparent, flexible pricing and multiple pathways for participation.
Typical Investment Ranges
Pricing varies by location, retreat length, and accommodation type, but here are typical ranges to help you plan:
  • Wellness Retreats (4 days/3 nights): €800–€1,400 per person for residential experience with all meals, workshops, and materials included
  • Impact Retreats (2.5 days/2 nights): €600–€1,000 per person residential
  • Combined Week (Wellness + Impact): €1,300–€2,200 per person with discount for booking both
  • Custom organizational retreats: Contact us for pricing based on group size and customization needs
Exact pricing for each specific retreat date and location will be confirmed 3-6 months in advance. Early registration typically offers 10-15% savings.
Making Retreats Accessible
We offer multiple pathways to make retreats financially feasible:
  • Sliding scale pricing: Select retreats offer 3-tiered pricing based on self-assessed financial capacity
  • Payment plans: Split your investment over 2-4 months leading up to the retreat
  • Organizational sponsorship: Many employers, universities, and nonprofits will fund professional development—we provide documentation to support your request
  • Scholarships: Limited partial and full scholarships available for participants with demonstrated financial need and commitment to impact work
  • Work-exchange: Some retreats offer a few spots for participants who contribute skills (photography, social media, logistics support) in exchange for reduced fees
Don't let finances be the only reason you don't apply. Reach out and let's explore what's possible.

Testimonials: Voices from Past Retreats
Don't just take our word for it. Here's what past participants have said about their Spirit of the Game retreat experiences. These reflections come from retreats held over the past several years in various countries and formats, offering a glimpse into the transformative potential of these immersive experiences.
"I arrived exhausted and unclear about my next chapter. Four days later, I left with a concrete action plan, three accountability partners from different continents, and—most importantly—a renewed sense of hope and possibility. This retreat didn't just give me tools; it gave me back my belief in myself."
— Sarah K., nonprofit leader, UK
"As someone who's been to many professional development workshops, I was skeptical. But the combination of personal inner work with strategic impact planning was unlike anything I'd experienced. The facilitators created a space where I could be both vulnerable and visionary. Six months later, I'm still in weekly contact with my retreat cohort."
— Miguel R., social entrepreneur, Spain
"I brought my team of eight to a custom retreat, and it fundamentally shifted how we work together. The blend of wellness practices, honest dialogue, and strategic clarity gave us a shared language and renewed commitment to our mission. Best investment we've made in our organizational culture."
— Jennifer T., Executive Director, Netherlands
"I came for the weekend Impact Retreat and ended up extending for the full week to experience the Wellness Retreat too. That decision changed my life. The wellness practices I learned—especially around sleep, movement, and stress resilience—have become non-negotiables in my daily routine. And the clarity I gained on my impact work led directly to launching my coaching practice three months later."
— Amara N., coach and consultant, France
"As a young person early in my career, I wasn't sure I 'belonged' at a retreat with seasoned leaders and entrepreneurs. But the facilitators and participants made space for my voice and perspective in ways I've rarely experienced. I learned as much from the retired executive in my small group as I did from the workshops. This intergenerational community is pure gold."
— David L., student and activist, Romania
"I was burning out hard—teaching full-time, organizing in my community, barely sleeping. The Wellness Retreat gave me permission to rest deeply and learn sustainable practices I could actually maintain. I'm teaching differently now, living differently. My students and family have noticed the change."
— Lucia M., teacher, Portugal
"The Spirit of the Game approach to 'maximizing impact' isn't about doing more; it's about doing what matters most with greater clarity and sustainability. That reframe alone was worth the price of admission. Add in the incredible humans I met, the beautiful setting, and the expert facilitation, and this was easily the most valuable professional development experience of my career."
— James P., executive coach, Germany
What Happens After the Retreat?
The retreat itself is just the beginning. The real work—and the real magic—happens when you return home and begin integrating what you've learned into your daily life. We've designed multiple layers of post-retreat support to help you maintain momentum, stay connected to your cohort, and continue growing long after you've left the physical retreat space.
Week 1-2: Integration
Immediately after the retreat, you'll receive integration resources including recordings of key sessions, digital versions of workbooks, and suggested practices for your first two weeks home. Your accountability partners will have already scheduled their first check-in calls.
Ongoing: Community Platform
Access to our private online community where retreat alumni share updates, ask questions, celebrate wins, and support each other through challenges. This isn't a performative social media space—it's a genuine community of practice.
Long-term: Continued Growth
Invitations to quarterly virtual reunions, access to alumni-only workshops and masterclasses, and discounted rates for future retreats. Many participants attend multiple retreats across different years and locations, deepening their practice and relationships.
Accountability Partnerships and Cohort Connections
One of the most powerful elements of our retreats is the relationships you'll build. By the end of your weekend or week together, you'll have been matched with 1-2 accountability partners—people who witnessed your commitments and will check in with you regularly to support your progress. These partnerships are structured but flexible, typically involving a 30-minute call every 2-4 weeks for at least the first 3-6 months after the retreat.
Beyond individual partnerships, your retreat cohort becomes an ongoing resource. Many cohorts stay connected through WhatsApp groups, periodic video calls, or even plan their own reunion gatherings. We've seen cohorts from years ago still actively supporting each other's work and celebrating milestones together.
Support Structures Include:
  • Accountability partnerships with matched retreat participants
  • Private online community for all Spirit of the Game alumni
  • Monthly "office hours" with rotating facilitators for Q&A and coaching
  • Quarterly virtual reunion gatherings for your specific retreat cohort
  • Access to recorded workshops and masterclasses
  • Discounts on future retreats and other Coaching Impact offerings
  • Opportunities to become a retreat facilitator or support team member
  • Connection to regional or network-specific communities (Women, Business, Youth, Teachers)
Ways to Stay Engaged:
  • Attend another retreat in a different location or format
  • Join the AI for Impact program for ongoing coaching and content
  • Participate in Impactful Network gatherings and initiatives
  • Volunteer as a retreat support team member or assistant facilitator
  • Host a local gathering for Spirit of the Game alumni in your region
  • Bring your own team or organization to a custom retreat
  • Share your story and learnings to inspire future participants
  • Co-create new retreat offerings or formats based on emerging needs
The Spirit of the Game community is global, diverse, and deeply committed to supporting each other's growth and impact over the long haul. When you join a retreat, you're not just signing up for a weekend or a week—you're stepping into a lifelong network of humans who believe in you and the change you're here to create.
Ready to Begin? Take Your Next Step
If you've read this far, something is calling you. Maybe it's the exhaustion you've been carrying and the promise of deep rest. Maybe it's the clarity you're seeking about your next chapter. Maybe it's the longing for community with other humans who understand what it means to care deeply about both personal growth and collective healing. Whatever brought you here, we want you to know: you belong in this community, and we'd be honored to support your journey.
Choosing to attend a retreat is an act of courage and commitment—to yourself, to your growth, and to the people and causes you serve. It's an investment not just of money and time, but of vulnerability and trust. We don't take that lightly. Every retreat we design is created with intention, care, and deep respect for the humans who will fill those spaces and do the brave work of transformation.

Our application is simple and designed to help us understand your needs, goals, and context so we can match you to the best possible experience. You can apply for multiple retreat dates and we'll work with you to find the right fit.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. While most retreats don't have formal acceptance criteria, space is limited and we want to ensure each cohort has a good mix of backgrounds, experiences, and energies. Applying early gives you the best chance of getting your preferred dates and, often, early registration pricing.
2. Explore a Custom Retreat
If you're interested in bringing a team, organization, or network group to a custom retreat experience, let's talk. We love co-creating experiences tailored to specific communities and contexts. Whether you have 10 people or 50, a weekend or a full week, a specific content focus or openness to our recommendations, we'll work with you to design something meaningful.
Custom retreats can happen any time of year and in locations beyond our standard 2026 calendar. We'll discuss your goals, budget, timing preferences, and any specific needs or considerations, then create a proposal for your review.

The world needs you—rested, clear, connected, and committed. It needs your gifts, your leadership, your care. And you need community, support, and practices that sustain you for the long journey ahead. These retreats exist at that intersection: where your individual healing and growth become inseparable from your contribution to collective change.
We hope to welcome you to one of our 2026 retreats. Until then, take good care of yourself and keep doing the beautiful work you're doing in the world.
With gratitude and solidarity,
The Coaching Impact and Spirit of the Game Team
